About Dr. Sharon Barber
Dr. Sharon Barber, OD, joined eyecarecenter in 2016. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC and grew up in Greensboro. At the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, Dr. Barber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She received her doctorate of optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2013. Dr. Barber is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Optometry and is a member of the North Carolina Optometric Society.
Dr. Barber and her husband reside in Chapel Hill and have two children. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with her family.
