David R. Braswell, OD

David R. Braswell, OD, is a full-scope optometrist in Rocky Mount, North Carolina at eyecarecenter. Dr. Braswell started off his professional career enlisting in the Army and served his time there as a Special Forces Medic. This exposed him to a variety of medical specialties and sparked an interest in healthcare as a career. Dr. Braswell attended North Carolina State University as a pre-med student and discovered Optometry as a field he chose to pursue. After graduating from Southern College of Optometry in 1991, Dr. Braswell returned to North Carolina and has practiced optometry in Rocky Mount since 1992.

Away from the office; Dr. Braswell is an avid bicycle rider and tennis player. During a break between college and optometry school he completed a 5000 mile cross country bicycle trip. Dr. Braswell is currently accepting new patients seeking eye care in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
