About Elizabeth Brooks

Dr. Elizabeth Cappellari Brooks, OD, is a comprehensive optometrist in Garner, North Carolina. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before attending Southern College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating magna cum laude. Following graduation, Dr. Brooks completed a one-year residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.

Dr. Brooks is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina Optometric Society. She also serves as a board member for Great Faith Vision, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide underserved populations with eye care services both in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Brooks enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband (who is also an optometrist), daughter and German Shepherd dog.
