About Heather Smith
Heather Smith, OD, FAAO, is a proud native North Carolinian. She grew up in Matthews and is a graduate of North Carolina State University. After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and completing a residency in Primary Care Optometry there she returned home to the Charlotte area and has been caring for patients here ever since.
Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and provides full-scope primary eye care and ocular disease management. She lives in Union County with her husband and two teenagers and in her free time she enjoys watching TV, reading, and going to the movies.
