Jennifer Butler, OD

Jennifer Butler, OD, is a native Texan and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in 2017. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2021. During her optometry schooling, Dr. Butler was accepted into the highly competitive military-medical Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP). After graduation, Dr. Butler attended officer basic training and was commissioned into the United States Army as an active-duty Army officer. Dr. Butler served as an Army optometrist providing eye care to the service members, veterans, and their families. Upon completion of her active-duty service, she continues to serve as an Army Reservist.

Dr. Butler now practices primary care optometry at eyecarecenter located in Swansboro, North Carolina. In her free time, Dr. Butler enjoys spending time with her family and pets, trying new restaurants, and participating in outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and swimming.
