Dr. Jessica O’Neil, OD, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Delaware State University. Dr. O'Neil then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Science and a Doctoral degree in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Dr. O’Neil continued her post-graduate studies by completing an optometric residency in Ocular Disease at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Havre de Grace, Maryland. During this time, she was trained in glaucoma, retinal disease, macular degeneration, cataract management, corneal disease, pre and post-operative optometric care, emergency and pediatric optometry. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association as well as North Carolina Optometric Society.
Outside the office Dr. O’Neil is a devoted mother to her children and wife to her husband Chris. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and traveling.
