Shivani Patel, OD

A proud North Carolina native, Dr.Patel has always held a deep passion for the field of optometry. Her journey began at East Carolina University, where she completed her undergraduate studies with a focus on health sciences. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives through vision care, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from Salus University.

During her clinical training, Dr.Patel gained extensive experience through externship rotations at several distinguished institutions. She provided comprehensive eye care at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center, honed her diagnostic and therapeutic skills at The Eye Institute in Pennsylvania, and expanded her exposure to private practice at MyEyeDr. in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Fluent in both English and Gujarati, Dr. Patel is committed to making eye care accessible and welcoming to a diverse patient population. Her ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds enhances the personalized care she provides.

In addition to her professional interests, Dr.Patel enjoys a well-rounded life outside of optometry. She loves traveling to new places, discovering unique cuisines, and cherishing quality time with her family and her beloved dog, Milo.
