Shraeya Mehta, OD

Shraeya Mehta, OD, is a primary care optometrist in Winston-Salem, NC at eyecarecenter. Dr. Mehta was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and graduated with honors from North Carolina State University. She obtained her optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Mehta now practices full scope optometry and prescribes glasses and contacts in Winston-Salem. She takes special interest in managing eye diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Association, and Winston Salem District Optometric Association. In her free time she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
