Vikarma Brooks, OD

Vikarma Brooks, OD is a comprehensive optometrist in Smithfield, North Carolina. Dr. Brooks studied at the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree before attending the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where he earned his Doctor of Optometry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and completed a residency in Ocular Disease with the Baltimore VA system. He and his wife, who is also an optometrist, decided to move to North Carolina to be close to family.

Dr. Brooks decided to become an optometrist because of his passion for healthcare and serving people. During his time at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Brooks participated in mission trips to Costa Rica and Jamaica. He is now a board member for the mission group Great Faith Vision. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family which includes a German shepherd.
