There are three main ways to schedule an appointment at eyecarecenter: Online by clicking the “Schedule Your Eye Exam” button at the top of every page and following the instructions to find your nearest office, calling your preferred office directly, and if you’re a returning patient, by using the patient portal.
Want to schedule your appointment right now?
Absolutely! If you know you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of your appointment time. If a same-day reschedule is required, we will work with you to find the next available appointment to fit your schedule. Please call your eyecarecenter office to do so.
eyecarecenter is committed to providing the best patient experiences possible. In order to be respectful of our patients’ time, all of our doctors and staff strive to make each appointment efficient and productive. In order to maintain our quality of service, any patient more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment may be asked to reschedule. eyecarecenter asks that all new patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, and all returning patients arrive 10 minutes prior. This ensures each patient has enough time to complete paperwork and update insurance or payment information.
We do! Stop by your local eyecarecenter anytime, and we’ll see you for an appointment (availability permitting). You can call your office ahead of time to see what appointment availability for the day looks like. Even if we don’t have anything available, we can put you on a wait list and notify you if another patient cancels their appointment.
The cost of an eye exam at eyecarecenter can vary depending on your specific vision health needs. Getting glasses or contacts can add additional costs to your visit. Similarly, certain eye conditions requiring more specialized treatment can increase costs.
For more information about eye exam costs, please call your preferred eyecarecenter office to discuss your specific needs.

In general, most eyecarecenter offices accept United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, VSP and Eyemed. However, not all locations or all doctors accept the same insurance plans. If you have a specific question about which insurance your doctor accepts or you don’t see your insurance on the list, please call your eyecarecenter office for more information.
eyecarecenter is dedicated to helping you find the right pair of glasses that fits your lifestyle perfectly. Each of our locations has a state-of-the-art optical lab to ensure you always get lenses that best meet your needs. That being said, we know things don’t always work out according to plan. If you need to return your frames for any reason, our staff will work with you to get you refitted in a new pair of frames that are perfect for your needs.
We do not offer same-day eyeglasses, but there’s a good reason for that! eyecarecenter locations use a state-of-the-art optical lab to ensure each lens is crafted specifically to best meet your needs. While this produces better quality vision correction solutions, it takes more time to make them. Depending on the strength of your prescription and any selected optical add-ons (anti-glare, transition lenses, etc.), your eyeglasses can take up to 10 business days to craft. So while we don’t offer same-day eyeglasses, the eyeglasses we do offer are designed to be a much better fit for you. It’s more than worth the wait!
